As Bucks County Treasurer, Tom Panzer serves as part of the Bucks County, Pennsylvania Financial Team responsible for overseeing fully-funded $800 million Bucks County pension fund; maintaining "AAA" financial rating from Standard and Poor's and "Aaa" rating from Moody's Investors Service; investing millions of County dollars in short term investment vehicles.
As an agent of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Tom is responsible for issuing licenses including: dog licenses, hunting licenses, antlerless permits, small games of chance and bingo licenses, and more.
Hailing from Warminster, Pennsylvania, Tom has spent more than 20 years serving his Bucks County community. Tom has served both the public and private sectors as a practicing attorney and managing partner for his previous law firm, McNamara, Bolla & Panzer in Doylestown Pennsylvania. Presently, Mr. Panzer leads the Doylestown office of High Swartz, LLP where he focuses his practice areas on municipal, zoning, and workers' compensation law.
Tom serves as the elected Treasurer of Bucks County and is a long time volunteer in his home community, Warminster Township, Pennsylvania. Tom has also served as an elected supervisor for Warminster Township for two six year terms, and as a board member for the Warminster Municipal Authority for a five year term.
